Chinese Pepper or "Sichuan pepper" refers to a spice obtained fromm a group of closely related plants of genus Zanthoxylum. In Asia, most representatives of this genus are found in the Himalaya region. During springtime, this bonsai may produce small yellow flowers and edible fruit.
This bonsai thrives in indoor conditions. Keep soil evenly moist. Water it by submerging. Moderate to high light. Fertilize it monthly with general fertilizer. Recommended temperature 65 degrees F an up.
