Juniper Bonsai Originated in Japan, this bonsai tree has become the most popular evergreen in North America. When one thinks of a traditional bonsai, a Juniper always comes to mind. This the the only juniper that can be grown indoors but like all trees summer it outside if possible. This tree also known as procumbens nana or the Japanese Garden Juniper has a naturally spreading growth habit Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Provide with moderate to high light. Fertilize it monthly with general fertilizer. Recommended temperature is 55 degrees F and up. 7 years old 10-14" tall in a 6.5x8" pot Height is measured from the bottom of the pot and factors such as the trunk caliper and root mass affect tree size classification
