This upright styled tree is often used and sold extensively in the horticulure industry as an ornamental piece- often called Christmas Berry. The Ardisia Crenata or sometimes refered to as Coral Ardisia is native in areas of Japan and Northern India. Leaves are dark green and thick, somewhat glossy, with scalloped margins. The flowers produced are white and light pinkish which bloom in clusters. The berries, which are readily eaten by birds, turn a bright coral red color and droop downwards on the tree.|n||n|12 years old, 22-23"tall.
