this is an awesome example of a Banyan Fig. It has real character with it's small dark green, oval leaves and thick multi stemmed trunk with reddish brown bar and very interesting flecked markings. And because the figs are easy to care for the make an excellent bonsai gift. They're attractive, distinctive and about the most tolerant and versatile of the indoor bonsais.
