Barbados Cherry Bonsai Tree-- (Malpighia Pendiculata) This is a great indoor bonsai for your home or as an easy to care for housewarming or wedding gift. Native to the islands of the Carribbean this tree is named after an Italian Botanist Marcello Malpighia (1628-1693). It's a naturally pendulous tree with a weeping growth habit, rosy-pink flowers and small inedible fruit brilliantly red and glossy. Great indoor bonsai. *7 years old, 7" - 9" tall As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas. Winter weather has now set in through much of the US and Canada and we are also now experiencing shipping delays. It's too cold to guarantee the safe arrival of tender bonsai.
