If someone you know (maybe you?) wants to start an indoor bonsai, here is a beautiful pre-bonsai Texas Ebony that will look terrific. Native to Southern Texas and to Mexico the leaves fold up and droop on dark days and at night. You probably won't see flowers when it's grown as a bonsai, but this is a very attractive tree and will attract a lot of attention.
