Black Olive Bonsai Tree, Bucida Spinosa
the Black Olive Bonsai is a wonderful tree if you live where you can keep it hot! This tree is a native of the upper Florida keys where it will grow to a statuesque evergreen 50 footer with very dense foliage. Do not expose it to temperatures below 40 degrees. I love the shape and the look and the leaves of this tree, but in my poorly lit Toronto home it wouldn't be the best choice, but if you have somewhere hot and sunny it will thrive and bring you tons of pleasure. It has spines though! 11-15 inches tall 8- 10 years old Please note - You will not receive the exact tree in this picture. You will receive the same type of tree, trained in the informal upright within the size and age range indicated.
