Brazilian Raintree Bonsai Tree (pithecellobium tortum) This hardwood tree is native to Brazil and its rainforests. The rain tree has delicate branches and tiny light-green compound leaves and is spiny. The leaves fold up at night or in subdued light and wakes up when we do. Easy indoor care. This is an unusual bonsai and makes a wonderful gift for you or a wedding, retirement, housewarming or anniversary gift. * 17 years old, 16"x14"x21" * Recommended indoor bonsai tree, * Potted in a 12" brown rectangle mica container as shown. As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas.
