Here's another favorite ficus retusa and it's not hard to see why. If you can bear to give it away you'll have a simply gorgeous birthday or anniversary romantic gift idea. Share it with a gardener and win their heart forever. Indoor bonsai plant -can summer outside . Watch out for the hot sun. Ficus trees are great inside but appreciate being taken outside in the summer. They don't like drafts and should come inside when the temperatures drop to the low 50's or so.

Watering: Keep your Ficus moderately wet. Water your tree well in the summer and decrease watering in the winter. Ficus are very tolerant of being over or under watered, which makes them ideal for beginners.
