Keep evenly moist with good light The chinese elm is very hardy - from zones 4-9 in their natural state although you must give bonsais extra winter protection. These trees are strong, fast growers, tolerate transplanting quite well. Resistant to Dutch Elm Disease Customers recommend the Twisted Trunk Chinese Elm bonsai tree or choose another decidious bonsai As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas. Winter weather has now set in through much of the US and Canada and we are also now experiencing shipping delays. It's too cold to guarantee the safe arrival of tender bonsai.
