Barbados Cherry (Malpighia Pendiculata) Its useful to know that in its natural form this is a pendulous tree with a weeping growth habit that will show itself if the branches are allowed to grow long. It's native to the Caribbean and must be kept indoors and away from the cold - although a controlled summer outside will never be a bad idea - protect from direct afternoon light in the summer. This is an excellent indoor bonsai As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas. Winter weather has now set in through much of the US and Canada and we are also now experiencing shipping delays. It's too cold to guarantee the safe arrival of tender bonsai.
