18 Year old Pyracantha koidzumii This fairly drought tolerant bonsai is a wonderful healthy plant with small but very pretty white flowers in the summer and clusters of bright red berries that last into the winter. As an indoor bonsai it will probably be evergreen although normally semi evergreen when it can winter outside - but this will only happen if you're at least a zone 8. As a wedding or housewarming gift this bonsai tree can spend outside in the summer and by mid fall - before a frost , bring it indoors to to sunny cooler spot for the winder. This tree is 18 years old. 21 " tall with a 20 inch spread. thorns. As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas. Winter weather has now set in through much of the US and Canada and we are also now experiencing shipping delays. It's too cold to guarantee the safe arrival of tender bonsai.
