Ficus Retusa- Ginseng Fig
Also known as a Banyan fig. Easy indoor bonsai 17" high with a 13" spread Also known as Tiger Bark Ficus because the bark can take on a striped appearance. The ficus is an ideal bonsai for just about any level of enthusiast. They will tolerate low light but do wonderfully in really good light conditions and like being taken outside for the summer but be very carefully to start them in good shade and gradually move them to where they'll get better morning light - keep out of the afternoon sun!! Ficus should be kept on the damp side - but again this forgiving tree will tolerate both over and under watering. As of December 17/09 we can no longer guarantee that your order will arrive by Christmas. Winter weather has now set in through much of the US and Canada and we are also now experiencing shipping delays. It's too cold to guarantee the safe arrival of tender bonsai.
