Chinese Elm Bonsai Tree (Ulmus Parvifolia) This is another excellent example of why the Chinese Elm bonsai is the best of the Elms for bonsai and it's very affordable so you can add it to your own collection of indoor or outdoor bonsai trees. The Chinese Elm is very versatile and will make a great wedding or housewarming gift idea. It can be grown indoors as an evergreen or allowed to winter outside ( always protect bonsai well) where it will grow as a deciduous tree. Has small evergreen leaves.
