BLACK LOCUST (robinia pseudoacacia)
This Black Locust will grow into a large impressive bonsai and an excellent addition to your outdoor collection. This is a fast growing tree- with very interesting bark - very hardy and tolerant. It's a wonderful outdoor bonsai to give as a retirement or anniversary gift to any gardener who would like a year round outdoor Bonsai tree. It has slightly fragrant white blossoms with a touch of yellow that attract bees and grow in long racemes in late spring. It will tolerate some over watering, don't allow it to dry out.
