You will love the flowers on this tree. Lovely little white bells produced abundantly in the spring are occasionally flushed with pink. This woodland native of the central and southern US makes a beautiful deciduous bonsai and the leaves turn bright yellow in the fall. It needs to winter outside but for many of us northern gardeners that will be in a very well protected spot. Give the Carolina Silverbell as a gift to anyone who truly loves the natural trees in the US as it is becoming quite rare over much of it's range- or keep it for yourself.
