Japanese Hornbeam
One of the earliest trees to open in the spring, it has beautiful little ornamental hanging fruit and pale bark. A wonderful Mother's Day gift. The alternating oval shaped leaves are double toothed., The autumn leaves are clear yellow and suddenly drop.
