Amur maackia
AMUR MAACKIA (maackia amurense)---outdoor A Russian native with smaller-than-normal leaves, slow-growing, and shiny brown bark on older trees. It is pest-free and exceptionally hardy. As it gets older, its white flowers (racemes) stand erect above the compound leaves. The above-ground roots are spectacular for bonsai.
