Here is the birthday gift for your favorite outdoor gardener. Only 10" tall, this CHINESE JUNIPER ‘GREEN MOUND’ (juniperus procumbens ‘greenmound’) is 14 years old. As the years go by it will continue to become an even more exceptionally beautiful cascading style bonsai.

The juniper, which is commonly trained into a bonsai, is a shrub often found in mountains about 3,000 feet above sea level. Of all the bonsai, this is commonly admired because of its shapely outline and its forgiving nature. Follow instructions for outdoor bonsai---DO NOT bring it in the house for more than a couple hours a month.
